I must admit that I have lately been embracing a more Normcore style. Choosing casual and plain looking jeans, hoodies and tops over flamboyant pieces. Now some shriek when they hear the word “Normcore” fearing that it would become an unfortunate fad, which it did. However, when you are a young individual on a budget and constantly on the go there is really no time to deliberate on ritzy getups.

STYLING: WINTER WEATHER

Depending on where you live the winter weather will continue for a while longer, and unfortunately some of you may experience an over abundance of snow. If you want to enjoy the chilly temperature while keeping warm a faux fur coat can do the job. I have always been an advocate against the use of real animal fur, and will never agree with its use. Stella McCartney, who never fails to impress me, took the initiative a while back to introduce her ‘Fur-free-Fur’ creations, which offer an array faux fur coats. Hopefully this effort with help push other designers to join the faux fur bandwagon.
