Summer 2015 Beauty Ideas

Sometimes less is better. This was the case for many of the Spring/Summer 2015 collections, where models displayed effortless looks using minimal makeup and simple hairdos. This summer you definitely don’t want to get caught in an embarrassing situation like having super-sticky lipstick or even worse having your foundation melting off your face. Take a glance at the beauty found throughout this seasons shows.

Chloé

Instead of using foundation swap it with a nice and light BB cream which will not only cover small blemishes, but will also serve as sunblock; without it smelling like actual sunscreen. If you still have visible blemishes that you are insecure about you are welcome to add a small amount of powder foundation to the area for the extra coverage. To stop any problems you encounter with a shiny T-Zone blotting paper is your answer. Blotting paper will eliminate any unwanted shine and you’ll be able to do any touch-ups after you use it.

Emilio Pucci

If you have visible redness in or around the cheek area after applying a BB cream try adding some blush which will not only camouflage the redness, but will ultimately end up brightening your face. If you want to sculpt and accentuate certain areas of your face add some bronzer to the top of your forehead, and on your cheekbones and jawline.

Michael Kors Collection

Lets not forget about our eyelashes. During the sizzling summer season it’s best to go with a water-proof mascara which will prevent you from having any smudges. When it comes to eyeshadows the choice is up to you, but remember to ditch the dark colors during the spring and summer seasons. That means no dark smokey eyes, in contrast lean to more neutral or lively colors. The same goes with goes with lips you can give them a “look at my lips” feel by using any pinks, corals, or reds. Alternatively, a lip balm will suffice this summer because with its added SPF and moisturizing benefits you just cant go wrong.

Valentino

This seasons hair forecast calls for simplicity. Stop damaging your hair by using heat tools and start embracing more laid back do’s like your natural hair type, beach waves, braids, and various half-up half-down styles. Now if you want a more polished look a sleek high or low pony tail will do the job, except this will require a straightener depending on your hair type. I’ll soon put a link here to a post I will publish of my beauty recommendations which go along with this.

Fashion’s New It Girl Kendall Jenner

Kendall Jenner. You may either adore her or shriek every time you hear about her or any of her sisters. Well this California girl is taking the fashion world by storm. Jenner has already walked for some of the most prestigious names in fashion like Chanel, Dolce & Gabbana, and Givenchy to name a few. And has graced in the pages of American Vogue and Vogue Paris. Now this 19 year old tv personality turned model is the new face of the beauty giant Estee Lauder. Many have mixed feelings about her signing with Estee Lauder saying she’s to young, they’re using her name, etc. I may not be a big Kendall Jenner fan but I must say this was a smart move by the beauty brand. Just day’s after announcing her role with Estee Lauder’s Instagram rapidly gained 50K followers. This girl will definitely boost Estee Lauder’s sales numbers especially with some of the younger market base that follow Miss.Jenner. Here are some behind the scenes photos some ad shoots for Estee Lauder featuring Kendall Jenner.
