This year marked Alexander Wang’s 10th year anniversary, and the designer displayed what he is best known for: his casual-yet-edgy street wear. In attendance were Vogue’s Anna Wintour, and Mary J. Blige, Lady Gaga, and Kanye West among others. A short film was played at the end which took the attendees back to Wang’s very first show.
Some of Wang’s current whereabouts is a collaboration with DoSomething.org, a non-profit which encourages young people by providing grants for projects that make an impact, and the campaign features multiple well known faces in the entertainment industry. He has also teamed up with Beats to bring back Beats by Dre X Alexander Wang, where 90% of the proceeds go to the above organization. And lets not forget about his partnership with Evian, where he made an exclusive bottle packaging which was available at his ’16 show. Now if only he could design the official uniform for the Olympic Games the United States would surely be the best dressed. Don’t you think?

The collection includes cropped bra tops, sweatshirts, leather joggers, mesh paneled leggings, scuba dresses, parkas, and beanies. Save the date, November 6th, when the collection will land in 250 stores worldwide and online at hm.com. Here are some my favorite looks from the collaboration.
