ALEXANDER WANG

STYLING: HOODIES

I must admit that I have lately been embracing a more Normcore style. Choosing casual and plain looking jeans, hoodies and tops over flamboyant pieces. Now some shriek when they hear the word “Normcore” fearing that it would become an unfortunate fad, which it did. However, when you are a young individual on a budget and constantly on the go there is really no time to deliberate on ritzy getups. HOODIES

BEST DRESSED AT THE 2015 EMMY AWARDS

Take a look at tonight’s best dressed celebrities who paraded down the red carpet at the 2015 Emmy Awards.

Alexander Wang Spring 2016 Ready-to-Wear

This year marked Alexander Wang’s 10th year anniversary, and the designer displayed what he is best known for: his casual-yet-edgy street wear. In attendance were Vogue’s Anna Wintour, and Mary J. Blige, Lady Gaga, and Kanye West among others. A short film was played at the end which took the attendees back to Wang’s very first show.

Some of Wang’s current whereabouts is a collaboration with DoSomething.org, a non-profit which encourages young people by providing grants for projects that make an impact, and the campaign features multiple well known faces in the entertainment industry. He has also teamed up with Beats to bring back Beats by Dre X Alexander Wang, where 90% of the proceeds go to the above organization. And lets not forget about his partnership with Evian, where he made an exclusive bottle packaging which was available at his ’16 show. Now if only he could design the official uniform for the Olympic Games the United States would surely be the best dressed. Don’t you think?
