The year’s most glamorous event is upon us and this years theme is Manus x Machina: Fashion In An Age Of Technology. The theme explores the mixture of handmade and machine-made haute couture and ready-to-wear pieces. Take a look at the best dressed A-Listers that attended this year’s Met Gala in New York City. The very awaited Balmain x H&M collaboration is set to hit H&M stores all-around the world November 5th, and up until now you have only had a few glimpses of the collection.Wait no more because now you can see the complete collection here. Now the hard part is waiting until November 5th rolls around. But we know for a fact that you will have plenty of time to pick apart the collection and find the perfect piece or pieces that will be incorporated into your wardrobe.
Fall and Winter brings along those chilly days where all you want to do is stay in bed. But unfortunately nothing gets done by itself and one of my favorite throw at the last minute garment is the Cocoon Coat. I love these type of coats because they’re always warm and over sized. I was put to the task to style this gorgeous Giambattista Valli Coat and here’s what I came up with. I was vibing a school girl outfit today so that’s exactly what I created with the H&M blouse and River Island Skirt, which by the way I adore.I love the cut out toe line on the Jimmy Choo’s and the satchel is by far one of my favorite looking satchels in stores.
I have loved Sarah Jessica Parker ever since I watched her in Sex & The City as Carrie Bradshaw. So I told myself why not do a look for less on one of my favorite actresses. The items I chose are not exactly like Parker’s but do come close in comparison. This look very casual and perfect for that in between Fall and Winter temperature. I was not able to find a picture of this look with a clear frontal view of her purse, but I did manage to find a purse that resembles the Hermes Birkin Bag which looks totally chic and not at a sky high price.
The highly anticipated Alexander Wang for H&M has finally been fully revealed. Before it’s reveal we were only able to catch a few glimpses of the collection as seen on Rihanna during New York Fashion Week last month. But finally what we’ve all been waiting for has finally been unveiled. The collection includes cropped bra tops, sweatshirts, leather joggers, mesh paneled leggings, scuba dresses, parkas, and beanies. Save the date, November 6th, when the collection will land in 250 stores worldwide and online at hm.com. Here are some my favorite looks from the collaboration.
